BRDS Organization Structure

A seven level organizational structure has been created under the Executive Committee to guide BRDS achieve its vision. The structure has been created keeping in mind clear division of roles and responsibilities across the organization along with need for specialist functions and managerial functions and their cohesion and unified communication across the levels.

This organization structure has been designed essentially to serve MGNREGA, at the behest of RDD, GOB. However, the structure allows for indicative manpower for other programs such as IAY, BPL/SECC and convergence. For e.g.: engineering and other staffs at District & Block level can be assigned them extra responsibilities for various works under BRDS. By implementing this the present structures at Districts and Blocks which is project specific (IAY, SECC, MGNREGS), a more coherent structure that will provide cross-cutting functional/ domain specialists and line staff across programmes/ schemes may be developed BRDS, in due course.
